Spring Celebration 2003

The 27th WBFH/March of Dimes Spring Celebration went into the record books as another successful event with students canvassing both Lahser High School and Andover High School.

The Spring Celebration broadcast reaches back to the very first year that WBFH signed on the air. At the time, the marathon corresponded to the year; that is, one hour on the air for every calendar year. The first year, 1977, saw a 77-hour marathon. However, as the years went on, the hours were reduced.

This year’s total money raised was nearly $800.
