Pete Bowers is Mr. Biff. He started the station in 1976 and is still here driving the bus four decades later. Besides being WBFH General Manager, he is the teacher of the Exploring Electronic Media course which is the intro class for those who want to work on the WBFH Staff. Bowers is also founder of High School Radio Day, a national day of awareness of high school radio stations. Details about HSRD can be found at www.highschoolradioday.com . He has won Best High School Radio Station Advisor in the John Drury national competition twice and was a Finalist in the Best Advisor category in another national competition sponsored by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS).
