With over 70 years of combined broadcast experience, the management team of WBFH Radio prides itself on educating and training tomorrow’s communicators. Whether WBFH students remain in the media industry or choose to use their skills in the business or professional world, they have been coached by experienced broadcast professionals.
Pete Bowers has worked for the Bloomfield Hills School District for 48 years, the last 41 years full-time teaching the radio broadcasting/electronic media classes while being the General Manager of WBFH 88.1 FM, The Biff. He is the founder of a high school radio national awareness day called High School Radio Day (www.highschoolradioday.com). He was the host of Bagley’s Corner which aired Mondays at 3 p.m.
Ron Wittebols was hired in January, 2013 as Assistant Manager/Technical Director/Program Director/Remote Supervisor. No stranger to the world of media, Ron has worked in advertising, radio, television and film as a copywriter/producer/performer. He has been associated with WBFH–off and on–for the past 28 years and enjoys mentoring students in the broadcast arts. He is the host of Motor City Static which airs Sunday nights from 9 to midnight.
