The WBFH Staff holiday party was held at the 300 Bowl in Waterford December 15th. Biff Staffers (Harrison Parker, Evan Brook, Greg Margosian, Evan Sacksner, Dylan Wittenberg, Foster Stubbs, Ron Wittebols and Pete Bowers) bowled two games and had pizza for dinner. Uncle Ron had the high game with 147. Bowers had the highest two game total of 245.
Biff students who won national high school radio awards in November were recognized by the Board of Education at their meeting December 10th. Attending the meeting were, left to right: Evan Sacksner, Evan Brook, Andrew Brown (holding the trophy for Best High School Radio Station in the Nation), Ron Wittebols and Pete Bowers. EEM (Exploring Electronic Media) Spotlight shows started Monday, November 30th, and ends Friday, December 18th. Students in the intro class go on the air with their own radio show as part of the class with help from the WBFH Staff members who engineer the show and teach the Biffers of the future how to do a radio show on the Biff.
Bagley’s Corner is a weekly community radio show hosted by Pete Bowers on WBFH 88.1FM every Monday at 3 p.m. In this episode (November 16), he interviews staff (Amanda Zang and Vicki Hurst) and students about the BHS-TV news program.
