BIFF Radio students were acknowledged by the BHS Communications Team for their support leading up to and during the Bloomfield Hills High School Grand Opening.
Biffers received a customized Sweet Blooms candy bouquet created by Wing Lake Developmental students.
WBFH, the BIFF, which can be heard at 88.1 and 89.5 on the FM dial or online at wbfh.fm, is one of only a few high schools in the state with an FM radio station. The station earned the 2015 Michigan High School Radio Station of the Year and the 2014-15 Best High School Radio Station in the Nation (John Drury Awards).
“Sweet Blooms” is a fundraiser where Wing Lake Developmental Center students create and sell brightly colored candy bouquets. If you are interested in purchasing a bouquet, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 248.341.6661. Wing Lake students have fundraised to go on a hayride at Bowers Farm and to donate to Toys for Tots. In addition to fundraising, the project helps teach young adult students pre-vocational skills, while practicing math, communication and social studies skills.
